The Nine Classes of Valen

Your class is the lens through which you experience Valen. It shapes how you fight, how you interact with the world, and how other players perceive and rely on you. Today, we're officially confirming all nine playable classes available at Alpha launch.

The WARRIOR charges in where others retreat, mastering every weapon in the arsenal. The MAGE bends reality through arcane, fire, and frost, dealing the highest sustained damage of any class at the cost of extreme fragility. The PRIEST serves as the backbone of any group, mending wounds through holy light or channelling shadow energy into devastating attacks.

The ROGUE lives in the spaces between moments — the half-second before a target realises what's about to happen. The WARLOCK makes dark pacts for immense power, commanding demons and layering curses that make every enemy engagement a slow, inevitable ruin. The HUNTER tracks, traps, and destroys from range, with a loyal beast companion that grows more powerful alongside them.

The PALADIN stands at the intersection of every role, equally capable as a Tank, Healer, or DPS. The SHAMAN commands the four elements in combat, shifting between restoration and destruction as the fight demands. And the DRUID is the most versatile class in the game — capable of tanking, dealing damage, or healing depending on their chosen form.
